Is There Hope ???

Sometimes i ask myself if there is hope for a better tomorrow or are we just all waiting to be killed by 1 natural disaster or the other??????.....In my opinion i think the  world is getting emptier by the day  and its just sad, especially with the wars,disasters,sicknesses..etc..Its stuffs like this that gets me  into that "i have a billion questions to ask GOD mood".I know can`t question GOD & i know was not around during the time of the cave men but i guess they did not have to fear Tsunamis, terrorist attacks and all sort of rubbish we hear N see these days..Question now is whats next ???? or whos next??? Guess we ripping the benefits of  "Civilization" which if U ask me is doing more harm than Good...GOD HELP US ALL. :(

  1. You can question God. He gave you a mind to be curious and converse with him. He will give you answers.

    But...

What we don't know is when the end will come. Our time is different from God's time and we have to understand this. Wars, famine, natural disasters, etc. have been happening since THE BEGINNING OF TIME. We are not the only generation to experience this stuff. In Revelations, God tells us not to fear. His work is beyond our understanding.

There is hope...you just don't see it on the news.

  5. Stuff like this crosses my mind sometimes, but I try not to think about it too much. I can't control the future, all I can do is enjoy the life I'm living.

  9. HI! I saw you were following my blog and I just wanted to stop by and check yours out!

About today's post, I just wanted to say that according to my religious beliefs, you CAN talk to Him. He meant for us to want to speak with Him daily, and not necessarily in the form of prayer every time. According to my beliefs, He wants you to speak with Him as if He were your friend. He'll always answer, but it may not be right away nor in the form you're looking for.

As far as Chymere's comment, I believe she is correct in saying they've been around. And maybe the reason why they seem worse in our world today is because we are so bombarded by all forms of media constantly that it is easier to hear of something that is happening half a world away.

I hope you find some answeres you're looking for!

  13. Thanks for visiting my blog! Love the pic here in this post. I was having one of these days too. During my quiet time with our Lord this morning He spoke to me again. I think it's amazing that He has time for me. It's ok to question God, it's even ok to be mad at Him. It's not ok to remain in our anger. He offers a relationship with us, a real one, with real emotion. The biggest part of this whole "God" thing for me with so many bad things happening was learning about man's free will. Man has the power to do what he wants when he wants. A LOT of people abuse that with devistating consequences for innocent people. NOT FAIR. But as Christians, we will overcome and the victory is ours. Praise the Lord! Thanks for being so honest here.

  14. Well the part of this whole thing that hurts me most is that most of these disasters are "MAN MADE" but i guess in all situations we just have to look on the bright side coz GOD knows best..thanks for the comment :)

  16. Well 9ja-great,looking at all the comments i think i`m more than convinced that GOD is the hope we all need,Although questions could be asked n BROWS could be raised,i guess no matter how deep in thought we might be at a point,it all comes to 1 thing and 1 thing only and that is the fact that GOD KNOWS BEST..thanks for the comment.

  17. you sound very distraught or depressed about the world system. take heart. at least, you still have your life and that's enough to be thankful for. just enjoy being in this time of your life.

  24. The world has always been full of joy as well as pain and disasters.

Its just that technology on demand has made it a much smaller place. So news of tsunamis comes into our homes in real time

Its up to us to seek pleasure and joy on this earth.

There is joy on earth yes but there is greater joy in Christ the solid rock.
