I`M BACK!!!!!!!

Greetings My fellow Blogsville Dwellers *Obasanjo`s Voice* .How have you guys been??? ,Its been Ages !!!! *Smiley face*. Erm i don`t see any smiles,Please don`t be mad at me for disappearing into thin air after MY AWESOME WEEKEND WITH BECCA. Trust me nothing happened. lol 

My disappearance was due to some sacrifices i had to make,although it hurt alil bit i`m glad i did because i go that extra mile to put a smile on the faces of my Friends. I see cobwebs all over my blog,well times up amigo thanks for filling in for me..*Picks Up a Broom & wave in their direction* .Phew..E no Easy..

Looking at my dashboard, i noticed i have a lot of reading / catching up to do. Thanks to my HTC HD 2 for helping me keep up till i got fed up of reading small fonts.I still hear grumbles,i said i`m sorry now!!! :(   *raises head*, okay so why is everybody murmuring???? we want to know  what you have been upto..*someone yelled* .Oh that????, Haba no problem now,i was coming to that..Hmm *clears throat* I have not been upto alot ooo, just my regular visit to the Gym for my cardio session,lots of errands from MAMA ALMIGHTY and Team Affairs..Not interesting???? OKay Okay let me skip the boring Part..*Raising Agbada* .. well attended a few partys ,BBQS but did loadz of visit to the Silver bird Cinemas. Wait  thats not all!!! I attended the the Premier of Adams Apple. Its a 10 chapter movie by SPARROW PRODUCTION,just 2 chapters of the 10 chapters have been shown to the Public because..Errm you guessed right,the rest is still in Production. 

I think the African Movie industry is growing by the day and HOLLY + BOLLY + WHATEVER WOODS u can think of have to be ready because they gonna have their minds Blown away!!!

My awesome weekend with Becca..

Hello fellow blogsville  dwellers, how was your weekend????. Mine was PARTY,PARTY & more PARTY. Let me skip all the boring part and head Straight to the GHANA MUSIC AWARDS which to me ROCKED although there is still more room for improvement. I was happy because alot of awards were giving to the right people and some as usual to the wrong people which infact to be honest isn`t my business because people always grumble about 1 thing or the other in showbiz.

There were lots of performances by artistes from different genres but this  performer who stood out and stole the show was the reason i attended the event, she is Becca.

Rebecca Acheampong aka Becca is of of Ghana’s youngest afro pop artistes whose music, style and charisma has caught the attention of many including international figures.

Based on her outstanding achievement in the music industry, she was again  invited to perform at this year’s Ghana Music Awards which  took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, April 9. It would be her fourth appearance at the awards ceremony. Becca’s style of performance and stage craft on international platforms like the Ghana Music Awards has added value to her chosen career.

The sensational afro-pop artiste, who launched her musical career in November 2007 with her maiden album ‘Sugar’, is the only Ghanaian artiste who has been consistent on the platform of Ghana Music Awards. ‘Sugar, which has the hit song ‘You Lied To Me’, which featured Kwabena Kwabena, also earned Becca four other nominations some years back. Becca also featured Hugh Masekela, a great musician from South Africa on her track ‘I Love You’. The ethereal beauty has been hard at work on a follow-up album since her main ‘Sugar’ collection came out at the end of 2007. She has already put out three singles meant for her new album – very very popular ‘Daa Ke Daa’, ‘Eti Sen’ and African Woman. How was your weekend???, Have a blessed week everybody.

Is There Hope ???

Sometimes i ask myself if there is hope for a better tomorrow or are we just all waiting to be killed by 1 natural disaster or the other??????.....In my opinion i think the  world is getting emptier by the day  and its just sad,especially with the wars,disasters,sicknesses..etc..Its stuffs like this that gets me  into that "i have a billion questions to ask GOD mood".I know can`t question GOD & i know was not around during the time of the cave men but i guess they did not have to fear Tsunamis,terrorist attacks and all sort of rubbish we hear N see these days..Question now is whats next ???? or whos next??? Guess we ripping the benefits of  "Civilization" which if U ask me is doing more harm than Good...GOD HELP US ALL. :(

                                                                  

Reach Out....

Japan was hit by one of the largest earthquakes ever recorded last Friday. The magnitude-8.9 quake spawned a deadly tsunami that slammed into the nation's east coast, leaving a huge swath of devastation in its wake. Thousands of people are dead and many more are still missing or injured.

Japan has often donated when other countries have experienced disasters, such as when Hurricane Katrina impacted the United States,Earth Quake in Haiti,a lot but to mention a few. Thank GOD for Women....

 This morning i woke up and after my usual word of prayer,  i sent my girl a text, called MAMA & my sister to say hi!!. Then it hit me that we MEN who claim to be BOSS don`t exist without women & sadly they mostly get acknowledged on mother`s day. i like to use the medium  to give honor to WOMEN around the globe coz they work tirelessly 24 hours a day to make the world go round ! DO U NEED THE REASONS WHY??...here is a few.. they cook, they clean, they are there as a  parent, as a teacher, as a referee, as a nanny, as a nurse, as a handyman, as s maid, as a photographer, as a councilor, as a chauffer and as a comforter to mention a few... They don't get holidays, sick pay or any days off.... They work through the DAY and NIGHT.... They on call 24 hours!!! Now its our Job as MEN to LOVE, HONOR & CHERISH OUR WOMEN!!! So on behalf of all MEN Around the world I say Thank you , ευχαριστώ , תודה , asante , grazie , धन्यवाद , คุณขอบคุณ , 謝謝 , Спасибо , merci , شكرا , paldies , děkuji  :) 

LOVE

What is Love???...This is 1 question people never seem to find an answer to because we all have different definitions to it,i remember being asked what it was back in school and after cracking my head i said it was THE LEAVE OF VARIOUS EVIL...i did not know where that came from but as far as i am concerned it saved me from getting a scary frown from the catechism teacher lol.Our Dictionaries tells us that LOVE "is a strong positive emotion of regard and affection towards a human,an object or a fun thing we occupy ourselves with as humans".Mary J Blige gave a definition of LOVE in her song "WHAT IS LOVE" she said its Beautiful, horrible, magical, terrible.Reason to laugh and smile,Reason to cry yourself to sleep at night,Start a fight. Make up,Break up,Wrong or Right,It feels like joy, It feels like pain,It feels like sunshine, It feels like rain,Its an excuse for dying and a Reason to live.If you ask me,i think this by the way seem to be the best definition or description giving to love..

Centuries have passed by, relationships have bloomed and so has love. But no one can give the proper definition of love. To some Love is friendship set on fire for others Maybe love is like luck. You have to go all the way to find it. No matter how you define it or feel it, love is the eternal truth in the history of mankind.  

Love is patient, love is kind. It has no envy, nor it boasts itself and it is never proud. It rejoices over the evil and is the truth seeker. Love protects; preserves and hopes for the positive aspect of life. Always stand steadfast in love, not fall into it. It is like the dream of your matter of affection coming true.   Love can occur between two or more individuals. It bonds them and connects them in a unified link of trust, intimacy and interdependence. It enhances the relationship and comforts the soul. Love should be experienced and not just felt. The depth of love can not be measured. Look at the relationship between a mother and a child. The mother loves the child unconditionally and it can not be measured at all.   A different dimension can be attained between any relationships with the magic of love. Love can be created. You just need to focus on the goodness of the other person. If this can be done easily, then you can also love easily. And remember we all have some positive aspect in us, no matter how bad our deeds maybe. And as God said "Love all".

Depending on context, love can be of different varieties. Romantic love is a deep, intense and unending. It shared on a very intimate and interpersonal and sexual relationship.  The term Platonic love, familial love and religious love are also matter of great affection. It is more of desire, preference and feelings. The meaning of love will change with each different relationship and depends more on its concept of depth, versatility, and complexity. But at times the very existence of love is questioned. Some say it is false and meaningless. It says that it never exist, because there has been many instances of hatred and brutality in relationships. The history of our world has witnessed many such events. There has been hatred between brothers, parents and children, sibling rivalry and spouses have failed each other. Friends have betrayed each other; the son has killed his parents for the throne, the count is endless. Even the modern generation is also facing with such dilemmas everyday. But love is not responsible for that. It is us, the people, who have forgotten the meaning of love and have undertaken such gruesome apathy.

In the past the study of philosophy and religion has done many speculations on the phenomenon of love. But love has always ruled, in music, poetry, paintings, sculptor and literature. Psychology has also done lot of dissection to the essence of love, just like what biology, anthropology and neuroscience has also done to it. 

Psychology portrays love as a cognitive phenomenon with a social cause. It is said to have three components in the book of psychology: Intimacy, Commitment, and Passion. Also, in an ancient proverb love is defined as a high form of tolerance. And this view has been accepted and advocated by both philosophers and scholars.   Love also includes compatibility. But it is more of journey to the unknown when the concept of compatibility comes into picture. Maybe the person whom we see in front of us, may be least compatible than the person who is miles away. We might talk to each other and portray that we love each other, but practically we do not end up into any relationship. Also in compatibility, the key is to think about the long term successful relationship, not a short journey. We need to understand each other and must always remember that no body is perfect. 

Be together, share your joy and sorrow, understand each other, provide space to each other, but always be there for each others need. And surely love will blossom to strengthen your relationship with your matter of affection.As  William Shakespeare would say... "LOVE ALL,TRUST A FEW,DO WRONG TO NONE"........               

                                               

AN ANGEL IN DISGUISE....

She is the most comforting,the most charming,she is the best thing that ever happened to me..i sometimes wonder how lucky i must be or how blessed i am or what i have done for GOD to smile down N give me this ANGEL who is always lying to be human...I sometimes panic coz its difficult when this ANGEL IS  4179.07 km to the EAST and i have to travel at the speed of 700nuts in order to make it there in 5hours 30mins "No BIG DEAL"....I wake up everyday with 1 thought in mind,that is how to say thank you to this ANGEL coz she has been there through thick and thin,rain,shine and whatever weather mother nature has for the day and the most fascinating thing is she always gives u a reason to smile even if she is not in the best of moods...I am gonna be forever in debt to this ANGEL and so help me GOD i am gonna love her forever and not even 6ft beneath the earth crush can change the kind of feelings i have for this ANGEL....I look forward to meeting this Mysterious ANGEL and i pray that we gonna rock A PARTY....NAKUPENDA CHELALANG!!!!
